Jared Leisek is a scuba diver from Redmond who has a Youtube channel called Adventures with Purpose, in which his search team goes into deep waters to find lost objects like cell phones, cars, garbage, and more. This project’s first purpose was to clean these spaces underwater, however, they found a new target that needed specifically their help.
Some families all around the United States had lost a loved one and never found their bodies, and even if they suspected that these were under the water, authorities couldn’t do much about it because of the depth and strong river currents they were unable to place divers into the water. This is why Adventures with Purpose was their only hope to say goodbye appropriately and finish the infinite pain.
When Jared Leisek realized how important his work was for American families he decided to offer this service for free. He knew that having a Youtube channel with more than one million subscribers, donations from his viewers, and merchandise to sell, his team could afford this service and help a lot of families.
Since 2019, Adventures with Purpose has solved nineteen cold cases and removed more than a hundred vehicles from water resources.
Adventures with purpose helped families around all USA, When Jared started his movement he started to think that his idea became something deeper literally, with his team, Jared started to give answers to the families who lost their members in accidents or disappear cases, this normal families around all the USA are really thankful with Jared for his work, because some of them had cases without any clues.
When Jared’s team found a missing car under the water he called the police to recover the body of the victim and give it back to their families, the families who got more benefited received answers about their lost family members and the bodies of the victims.
Thanks to Jared’s Youtube channel the people started to view, share and follow his content for that reason Jared received donations so more families could find their loved ones.
This humble activity invited millions of people to support this channel and help families for free. We can say that Jared and his team had a winning idea and took the best they could from their success online, because now they are not only helping the environment but they are also helping people for free. This demonstrates that the digital tools that surround us nowadays are not only good for making money, they also allow us to share our best qualities, create communities and get people together to make good actions.
